What we do in a bathroom remodel
Some bathrooms need everything. Some need three things done well. We'll tell you which one yours is.
Showers and tub-to-shower conversions
Fully tiled walk-in showers with niches, benches and frameless glass, or converting an old tub into a shower that actually fits the space. More on tub-to-shower conversions.
Tub surrounds
Retiling around an existing tub, from small dated tile to large-format tile with fewer grout lines, plus new fixtures and a niche for storage.
Vanities and countertops
New vanities with quartz tops, undermount sinks, faucets, mirrors and lighting, sized to the room so the door still opens.
Tile floors and walls
Porcelain tile, wood-look plank tile, hex and mosaic floors. Laid flat, cut clean, and grouted right.
Plumbing and fixtures
Shower valves, tub spouts, faucets and toilets, plus moving a drain or supply line when the new layout needs it.
Lighting and ventilation
Vanity lights, recessed cans and exhaust fans. A good fan matters more than people think in a bathroom with a new tiled shower.

After
Primary bathroom with a freestanding tub, a walk-in shower and new double vanity
A corner garden tub and a small framed shower took up most of this primary bathroom. Both came out. Now a freestanding tub and a walk-in shower sit side by side against one tiled wall, with new vanities, mirrors, lighting and floors.

What a bathroom remodel costs depends on four things
We don't post a price list because two bathrooms the same size can land far apart. These are the things that move the number the most, so you know what to expect before we come out.
How much stays where it is
Keeping the toilet, tub or shower drain and vanity in the same spots keeps plumbing work, and cost, down. Moving them is possible, it just adds up.
The shower
A new tub surround costs less than a fully tiled walk-in with a bench, niche and frameless glass. Glass alone is a real line item.
Tile and materials
Standard porcelain goes in faster and costs less than natural stone, tiny mosaics or complicated patterns.
What's behind the walls
Old leaks, soft subfloor or outdated plumbing get fixed while the walls are open. We point these out in the estimate, not halfway through the job.

How a bathroom remodel with us goes
Walkthrough and written estimate
We come to your home, measure, look at the plumbing and electrical, and talk through what you want. You get a written estimate with the scope spelled out, not a number pulled from the air.
Materials and schedule
We help you pick tile, cabinets, counters and fixtures that fit the budget, then order everything and set a start date. Nothing gets demoed until the materials are in hand.
Demo and build
Demo, rough plumbing and electrical, then tile, cabinets, counters and finish work. We protect the rest of your house and clean up every day.
Final walkthrough
We go through every detail with you before we call it done. If something isn't right, we fix it before we leave, not on a punch list three weeks later.
Bathroom remodeling questions
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
It depends on the scope. A refresh, with a new vanity, fixtures and flooring, goes much faster than a full gut with a new walk-in shower. You get a timeline for your specific bathroom in the written estimate, and we don't start demo until the materials are on hand, so the room isn't sitting torn apart while we wait on a shipment.
Can I keep using the house while you remodel the bathroom?
Yes. We seal off the work area, protect the floors on the way in and out, and clean up at the end of every day. If it's your only bathroom, tell us at the estimate and we'll plan the schedule around getting a working toilet back as early as possible.
Should I keep my tub or convert to a shower?
If kids or a future buyer will want a tub, keep one in at least one bathroom. In a primary bath where nobody takes baths, a walk-in shower usually makes better use of the space. We'll talk through both at the walkthrough.
Do I have to pick out all the tile and fixtures myself?
No. Most homeowners pick a direction, like warm and wood-toned, bright and white, or dark and modern, and we bring options that fit the budget. You make the final calls, but you won't be on your own in a tile showroom.
What affects the price the most?
Moving plumbing, the size and type of shower, and the tile you choose. Keeping the toilet, tub and drain in the same place and choosing standard-size tile keeps the cost down the most.
