New kitchen and bathroom countertops in quartz, quartzite, granite and more. Replacing old counters is one of the fastest ways to make a kitchen look new, even if the cabinets stay.

What we do

Countertops on their own, or as part of a bigger kitchen or bathroom remodel.

Kitchen countertops

Perimeter counters, islands and peninsulas, including waterfall edges that run down the side of an island.

Bathroom vanity tops

Single and double vanity tops with undermount sinks, for a new vanity or the one you already have.

Materials

Quartz, quartzite, granite and marble. We'll bring samples and talk through how each one holds up.

Tear-out and prep

Old counters removed carefully, cabinets checked for level, and anything loose fixed before the new tops go in.

Sinks and faucets

Undermount and farmhouse sinks, faucets and disposals reconnected or replaced.

Backsplash

New counters are the right time for a new backsplash, since the old one usually comes off with the counters.

What affects the price of new countertops

Material and square footage are most of it, but a few other things move the number.

  1. Material

Natural stone like quartzite and marble generally costs more than quartz or granite.

  2. Square footage

More counter and a bigger island means more material.

  3. Edges and details

Waterfall ends, thicker edges and extra cutouts add fabrication time.

  4. Tear-out and backsplash

Removing old tile counters or replacing the backsplash at the same time adds to the job.

Countertop questions

Can I replace my countertops without new cabinets?

Yes, as long as the cabinets are solid and level. It's one of the most cost-effective upgrades in a kitchen.

How long does countertop replacement take?

The counters are measured once the old ones are out or the new cabinets are in, then fabricated. Install itself is usually done in a day. You'll get the full timeline in the estimate.

Quartz or quartzite?

Quartz is engineered, consistent in color and doesn't need sealing. Quartzite is natural stone with more movement and character, and it needs sealing. We'll show you both side by side.

Can I use my kitchen while the counters are being made?

Mostly. Without counters the sink is disconnected for a short time. We plan the tear-out so that gap is as short as possible.
