Everything in this small kitchen was tired: older cabinets, laminate counters and a dark tile backsplash. New white shaker cabinets and white counters make it look bigger and brighter. The layout stayed the same, so the sink and range didn't move.

What we changed

  • Older cabinets replaced with white shaker cabinets and brushed nickel pulls
  • Laminate countertops replaced with white countertops
  • Brown tile backsplash replaced with a clean white backsplash
  • Undermount workstation sink with a pull-down faucet
  • White dishwasher replaced with stainless
  • Same layout, with the sink and range in their original spots
