Floors we install

Built for Arizona: hard floors that handle heat, dust and everyday traffic.

Wood-look tile

Porcelain plank tile that looks like wood and holds up to water, scratches and pets. Common in Valley homes for a reason.

Luxury vinyl plank

Warmer and softer underfoot than tile, waterproof, and quicker to install.

Porcelain and ceramic tile

Large-format tile for living areas, and hex, mosaic or patterned tile for bathrooms.

Stairs

Treads, risers and landings redone to match the new floor, with clean square edges.

Floor prep

Leveling and repairing the subfloor so the new floor lies flat and doesn't crack or separate.

Trim and transitions

New baseboards, clean transitions between rooms, and door clearance checked.

What affects the price of new floors

Square footage sets the baseline. These are the things that move it from there.

  1. Material

Luxury vinyl plank usually costs less to install than porcelain tile.

  2. Tear-out

Removing old tile takes more labor than pulling up carpet.

  3. Floor condition

Uneven or damaged subfloor needs leveling before anything goes down.

  4. Layout

Lots of rooms, closets and cuts take more time than one open space.

Flooring questions

Tile or luxury vinyl plank?

Tile is the most durable and handles heat and water best. Vinyl plank is warmer underfoot, quieter and quicker to install. Many Valley homes use tile in kitchens and baths and vinyl plank in bedrooms.

Do you install flooring through the whole house?

Yes. Continuous flooring through the main living areas is a popular upgrade, and it makes a home feel bigger.

Can you install over my existing tile?

Sometimes, but usually it's better to remove it. Going over tile raises the floor height and can cause problems at doorways and cabinets.

Do I need to move out?

No. We work room by room when we can, and we'll plan around your kitchen and bathrooms.

Can you redo my stairs to match new floors?

Yes. We replace old carpet or laminate on treads and risers so the stairs match the new floor, including the landing and bottom step.
